What work is carried out to my watch during a service?
We carefully strip your watch movement, replace any visibly worn parts within, change the battery where applicable, clean the watch mechanics and then run a series of diagnostic tests. Once the whole service process has been completed successfully we then reseal the watch to ensure that it retains water resistance and moisture tolerance specific to your watch model.
What work is excluded from the service process?
Your watch service does not include glass replacement, removal of exterior markings to the case and bracelet or any work to bracelet or strap. A service will focus solely on your watch movement.
How long will the whole service process take?
The service and diagnostic process will take approximately three days from start to finish in normal circumstances. However, this timescale can increase further based on the complexity of the watch movement and the outcome of our thorough diagnostics.
What are the common signs that my watch may need a service?

Will a service repair my watch if it is broken?
Quite often the service process will resolve common running problems with your watch such as losing time and intermittent stopping. The service diagnostics will also allow us uncover any major faults that may be present.
Can you repair my watch if the service diagnostics show there are further repairs needed?
Yes. We can carry out any viable repairs that need to be completed to your watch. However, as these are likely to carry an extra charge we will contact you before commencing any further work on your watch.
How do you post my watch back to me and will this cost me any extra?
We want to ensure prompt return of your serviced watch. Therefore, all watches are sent using Royal Mail recorded delivery. This will require a signature upon arrival and will take approximately 3-5 days.
How often should I have my watch serviced to ensure it functions properly?
It is important that you service your watch every two years. This should increase the general lifespan of your watch movement and provide better timekeeping precision.
