(Reviewed 8 times) Rotary Ladies' Sterling Silver 'Precious Metals' Watch - LB20900/41 Reviewed on: 29 April 2013 Reviewed By: Angela Gilbert This is a truly beautiful wrist watch which any lady would be thrilled to receive either as a gift or as a treat for herself! It is styled in classic Rotary tradition and is thus neat, comfortable and practical to wear, and it is also extremely pretty! The dimensions of the casing are perfect - slim, and just the right size to make it easy to see the time at a glance, but not at all bulky on a small wrist. I'm delighted with my purchase because I now have a timepiece that is going to see me through virtually any occasion. Having been ashamed to wear my old watch at a family wedding last summer, I now feel suitable equipped for the next event! However I'm equally happy to put it on daily because I can tell it has the resilience of all Rotary watches. I opted to have the wrist strap adjusted after delivery, and this was quickly and easily done by my local jeweller, although I understand Nigel O'Hara will also remove any excess links before dispatch. What really sets this watch apart, however, is the fact that it is crafted in solid sterling silver. It's a 'go-with-anything' item, particularly with the mother-of-pearl face. The inherent value of the piece, and the sense of it's enduring quality (a future heirloom perhaps?) somehow adds to the pleasure in wearing it. The additional reassurance of a lifetime guarantee from Rotary (very easily activated online) is a great bonus. In view of all of this, the watch is incredibly good value for money when purchased from Nigel O'Hara. I must add that their ordering and delivery processes were flawless and efficient, and there was even a friendly and knowledgeable staff member on the end of the phone to answer a couple of queries that I had! There are two slight downsides to the watch. Firstly, despite much research I am left wondering about its water resistance, because the various sources of information all appear to disagree on the subject! I've been forced to conclude that it will probably be completely safe in normal everyday use, but I won't be going swimming or taking a bath with it on, just in case. However I will be sending it away to Rotary for battery changes in the future (a slight nuisance) in order to preserve its seal at factory standard. Secondly, it's a pity that there is no second hand or date function, both of which are useful basics, and perhaps should be incorporated in the next model. However these things do not detract from my being genuinely chuffed with my new watch, and I'm wearing it with enormous enjoyment. I strongly recommend this gorgeous watch! Excellent

Firstly I was impressed with the speed of service. I placed my order on Friday 1st of March and noticed that my item was in stock.Shortly after I placed my order I received an email telling me that my item would be posted that day if it was in stock I was delighted to receive the watch on Monday 3rd March as I opted for First class post which was free of charge. The watch was beautifully presented and is fantastic. My Daughter is absolutely thrilled with her new watch and also with the free silver earings I received with my purchase as these made an extra present for her. The only disappointment was that I took advantage of the free watch adjustment service and the strap measures smaller than requested so I will have to have the links put back in. Overall I would highly recommend Nigel O'Hara to my friends and family. Excellent
