Alternatively if you need it even sooner, choose the Expedited delivery option during checkout, which is a guaranteed next day delivery service.

FREE Economy Delivery Service

Orders which are despatched using the FREE Economy delivery service, normally reach the customer within 3 - 5 business days after your item has been despatched. This service is completely FREE for all orders within the UK.

First Class Delivery Service

Orders which are despatched using the First Class delivery service, normally reach the customer before within 2 business days after your item has been despatched. This service will have a £6.00 surcharge applied upon checkout.

Expedited Delivery Service

Orders which are despatched using the Expedited Delivery Service are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service is guaranteed, by Royal Mail, to reach you before 1.00pm on the day after your purchase has been despatched. This service will have a £7.15 surcharge applied upon checkout.

You can choose to collect your order in store. We will email you when we are processing the order and when it will be availble to pickup.

For your security the person who placed the order must collect it from the store. They must bring both the payment card used to place the order as well as the order receipt(as printed by you following completion of the online order).

We offer FREE Economy delivery for all orders within the UK.

There is a surcharge for items delivered outside the UK, adjusted according to the destination country.

Store collection is free for all orders.

Out of Stock Items
Please note there may be an extended delivery time for items that are out of stock, this can vary depending on the item from 2-14 working days.

Ring Orders
Please note - From time to time we may be required to place a special order for your specific ring size direct from our supplier. Whilst we carry a large quantity of all our rings, on occasion more popular sizes may be out of stock. Should this be the case and we are unable to despatch your order within our 'normal' 3-5 day delivery, we will contact you to discuss and advise.

Sale items
Sometimes, due to the high volume of sale related orders, delivery time may be extended to 7 working days.

Extended Delivery Items
Please allow extra delivery time for these items. Extended delivery time may range from 2-5 working days upto 14 working days. Please contact us for further information.

Pre-Ordering an item
We offer the additional facility to pre-order an item which is currently out of stock. We do not charge your credit card until the item has been dispatched. Unfortunately any payments made via PayPal or Google Checkout are debited immediately. This policy is set by Google and PayPal and as such we have no control over it.

Delivery timescales for pre-ordering can vary, you will be updated with an estimated delivery date once the order has been placed and kept informed should any changes in this date occur. Delivery timescales from companies can vary from a couple of days up to four weeks.

The price in which the item is pre-ordered is secure and you will not be charged any additional costs, should the price of the product increase from date of order to product delivery.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

• Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

• Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Nigel O'Hara Diamond Jewellers is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new watch from us we would accept their old watch and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
