Casio Watches
Casio was founded in 1946 when Khasio Tadao started the business in Tokyo. The whole Tadao family had moved to Tokyo in 1923 after the Great Kanto Earthquake following an invitation of work by his uncle.
After graduating from school Tadao had humble beginnings working as an apprentice lathe operator. However, the owner of the factory was quick to recognise the intricate skills of Tadao and encouraged him to go Waseda University, while still working at the factory.
Tadao used this platform to gain a wealth of experience in a number including making pots and bicycle generator lamps. It was these unique skills of Tadao that quickly saw him being offered many subcontractor business propositions by other industries.
This was indeed the Catalyst for Tadao to go into business for himself by virtue of creating his own business, which was then known as Kashio Seisakujo. It was this business that was to evolve into the global Casio brand that we are all very familiar with today.
It was the development of Casio Computers in 1957 that heralded a new age in innovation. This department was not only responsible for the development of Timepieces but also designed and created Digital Cameras, Cash Registers, Projectors, Calculators, Mobile Phones, Electronic Musical Instruments, LCD Displays, Printers, Office Computers and Cash Registers.
This wonderful spectrum of products was all created with the same philosophy that was instilled by Tadao himself. That is to create completely original and innovative products, what Casio have dubbed as going from “0” to “1”.
Casio comply with their philosophy by identifying what consumers truly need, rather than following the norm and conventional modes of thinking. In a sense they are a company that is founded upon as daring aspiration to be different but also very relevant to the needs of the consumer.
It is this very thinking that has consistently allowed Casio to go beyond the mere satisfaction of the customer and astonish and inspire the imagination of the consumer with both their products and services.
Casio believe that the creation of totally new products starts new trends, contributes to culture, and revitalizes many related industries.
In support of these values the Casio corporate creed is “Creativity and Contribution”.
These sound company values have allowed Casio to become the large corporation that it is today. Casio Computers alone has over twelve thousand employees and net sales over several hundred million pounds per year.
Casio Computers as you can expect have been a company of many industry firsts from the worlds first electric calculator, ink jet printer, 3.2 mega pixel camera phone, slimmest 10.1 mega pixel phone to name but a few past successes.
Casio watches products of today add fun and convenience to the daily life of the consumer. Their product range is honed around superb product planning and accurate assessment of the needs of people on a global basis.
It is these attributes that have allowed Casio to revolutionise technology in the modern age making a Casio watch a genuine instrument of innovation. It therefore hardly surprising that Casio Watches UK remains a market leader.
Take for instance Casio G-Shock watches. Casio appreciated that watches at that time did not necessarily suit the needs of the consumer whom wanted to wear it everyday as part of an active lifestyle or indeed in a harsh environment. Based on this idea they designed a watch that would be both highly durable and shock resistant. The G-Shock range has helped to explode convention with a watch that is synonymous with an all around toughness. Today the G-Shock collection is continuously evolving with the addition of new ideas and innovations. Some of these include mud resistance, radio time calibration, tidal and moons graphs and auto calendars that are accurate through to the next century. It is no wonder that G-Shock watches in all their variations and styles have become a global sensation. Much of this technology has also been rolled out to the wonderful Casio Divers watches.
Solar powered Casio WaveCeptor radio controlled watches also cannot fail to amaze. When Casio designed these watches that wanted to create watches that would never fail the consumer. These watches work under the principal that they are always on and always accurate. They will never need a battery as they draw power from natural and artificial light, whilst being able to calibrate their time from radio signals means that accurate timekeeping is taking care of in very respect by the singular watch on your wrist.
The Casio ProTrek is another technological marvel. These watches are a Casio digital watch designed to be ultra efficient and feature packed. In essence with its current feature set it is the perfect companion for the outdoor adventurer among us. In terms of technology these watches were deemed smart as they used a new level of solar technology that was ultra efficient whilst also being able to offer new groundbreaking features such as an altimeter, barometer and digital compass all of which would be infinitely available where there is any small light source.
Casio Computers and in particular their timepieces are a technological marvel. These watches truly inspire that imagination with features that we used to only dream about. It therefore no surprise that a Casio watch is coveted by many whatever their demands or environment they work or play.
Casio watches offer strong timepieces that are surprisingly inexpensive. A Casio watch is frequently spotted on the wrists of many celebrities, meaning you too can emulate this popular trend. Casio watches are great as sports watch and their appeal also stems from the many watch colours available. Every Casio watch has a one year warranty valid from the date of purchase
