30 Day Returns Policy
We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we understand that you may wish to return items.
Items can be returned direct to us within
30 days from the day of dispatch for a refund or exchange.
To qualify for this, the product must not have been worn, and be in brand new condition. You must return all the original packaging, instructions, guarantee and any extras.
We process all refunds as quickly as possible and you will receive an automatic email once this has been completed. We will endeavour to process all refunds within 5-7 working days. However, during excessively busy periods please allow a maximum of 28 working days for the refund to appear back in your original payment source.
Before despatch, all of our items are checked by two members of staff. The first staff member who picks the item performs an initial inspection on the item, which is then passed onto the distribution department where it is checked again. A hand signed delivery note is then placed with the item.
We cannot be held liable for any postage charges incurred by the customer, however in some circumstances, postage may be refunded at our own disgression.
Those orders returned or cancelled under our returns policy will incur a handling or restocking fee of £6.00 that will be taken from your refund.
Christmas 2011 Returns Policy
All order placed on or after the 1st October 2011 will be eligible for return until the 31st January 2012 under the extended Christmas returns policy.
Here at Nigel O’Hara we understand that many of our customers want to begin their Christmas shopping in good time for the big day.
We could not agree more with this practice as it will help you avoid disappointment with limited product lines, whilst ensuring the newly forecast snow and adverse weather does not play havoc with this years Christmas shopping.
Therefore, to help facilitate our customers we have extended our Christmas returns period, starting from the beginning of October 2011 and running to the end of January 2012.
This will allow you to buy your Christmas gifts now with the sound knowledge that they can be returned, if for whatever reason, they prove to be unsuitable.
To qualify for the extended return policy the ordered product must arrive back with us in brand new condition.
You must also safely return all the original packaging, instruction manuals, guarantee documentation and free gifts that were included - Otherwise there will be a charge applicable for the retail value of any gift not returned.
We will endeavour to process all refunds within 5-7 working days. However, during excessively busy periods please allow a maximum of 28 days for the refund to appear back in your original payment source.
Once a refund has been completed we will provide email confirmation of this directly to your email account provided.
Before despatch your ordered items will be inspected by two separate members of our despatch team. These inspections occur both when the item is individually picked and once again when the item is being securely packaged.
As part of our stringent quality assurance process each order will receive a signed delivery note in conjunction with an itemised invoice.
We cannot be held liable for any postage charges incurred by customers availing of the extended returns policy. However, we do reserve the right to refund customer postage charges on a discretionary basis.

We cannot accept returns of earrings due to hygiene reasons or cleaning products if the seal has been tampered with. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We cannot return items which have been specifically re-sized or adjusted for you. For example we do
NOT accept returns for rings, watches and other items that have been specifically re-sized to your individual requirements.
You are not eligible for a refund or exchange under any circumstances if the item has been worn, marked or shows any signs of usage. You may try the item on for size, however if the item is marked in any way then you have accepted the item and are no longer eligible for a refund or exchange under the terms of the cooling off period in the Distance Selling Act. You may also not remove or have links removed from the item – this also signifies acceptance.
There are two easy ways to return an item:
Return to the Nigel O'Hara store for an immediate refund
This is the quickest way to obtain a refund. You can also exchange your unwanted item in store.
- Place the item into its original presentation box.
- Take it along to Nigel O'Hara, together with this despatch note.
- If the item is in its original condition, we will process the refund or exchange for you.
- If you require a refund, please bring the payment card used when you ordered online.
- If you received the item as a gift, you'll be reimbursed with a gift card, credited with the cost of the item.
Return by post
You can return unwanted items to us by post. You will be refunded on the credit/debit card you used to place the order within 28 days.
For your benefit and security we recommend that you send the goods back to nigelohara.com by
Royal Mail Special Delivery. This will ensure proof of delivery and insurance of the goods whilst they are in transit.
- Place the item into its original presentation box and make sure that the parcel is sealed securely. You should also place a copy of the original despatch note into the parcel.
- If the item is in its original condition, we will refund the payment card used to place the order.
- If you wish to exchange your item, you will need to return it to our store as we are unable to process an exchange by post.
- If you received the item as a gift, the easiest way to return it is to take it to an Nigel O'Hara store where you will be reimbursed with a gift card, credited with the cost of the item. See the above section for details.
