At Nigel O'Hara Diamond Jewellers, family is at the centre of our business. Nigel, a third generation watchmaker and jeweller is joined by a number of family members, including his brother (John), his sister (Alison) and his son (Richard).
We also have in addition, highly skilled members of staff which have added to the success of the business. Many of which have been with us for a number of years.
Nigel formed the business in 1985 after working in his father's shop for sixteen years. He is a third generation certified watchmaker and jeweller. The business has expanded significantly with the opening of a new shop front in 2003.
With over 40 years experience in the jewellery trade, Nigel has established a highly respected and leading jewellery organisation and has been recognised with many awards on a local and national basis.
In 2007 a new online ecommerce venture was launched projecting the business into the European market.
Our customer base has now expanded into most European countries, with plans to expand into the trans-Atlantic markets shortly.
Nigel is a loving grandfather, with three grandchildren, Poppy, Isaac and Heidi.
Richard O'Hara
Internet Manager
Nigel's son Richard comes from an I.T. background and has worked as a professional web developer for over thirteen years. As a University of Ulster graduate in Computer Science, he launched the ecommerce branch of the business in 2007.
Since joining the business, he has infused his technology background and developed a computerised customer services system.
He is also interested in martial arts and generally keeping fit.
Jon O'Hara
Shop Manager
Jon, Nigel's brother, has a number of years experience in the jewellery business, and is a skilled horologist, specialising in clock repairs.
He is also a keen painter, exhibiting his work in many galleries throughout Northern Ireland.
Mandy Lilburn
Customer Services
Mandy has been a great asset in strengthening our team since joining Nigel O'Hara Diamond Jewellers 5 years ago.
Building on her previous retail experience. Mandy's has a great natural enthusiasm and a keen interest in jewellery and diamond products.
Mandy recently became a mother with the birth of her daughter Faith.
Pauline West
Customer Services
Pauline is also a highly able and experienced member of our team and has contributed greatly to the successful growth of the business. Her bubbly personality and dedication has made her very popular with all our customers.
Pauline is also a dedicated mother and grandmother, with her four children and three grandchildren.
Scott Cloughley
Customer Services
Scott joined the team just over a year ago. He is an excellent member of the team, who's enthusiam is evident in all he does. As a trainee horologist, he is very interested in the repairs of watches.
Scott became a father recently with the birth of his daughter Sophie, he is also a keen cyclist and has participated in the Belfast marathon a number of times.
Alison Hudson

Alison is Nigel's sister and is an enthusiastic and highly skilled sales assistant. She loves jewellery and certainly loves selling it. If you come into Nigel O'Hara's, you can be sure she will find exactly what you are looking for.
Carol McGeown

Carol has been working at Nigel O'Hara Diamond Jewellers for over six years. She is a dedicated and hard worker who loves working with customers. She specialises in all types of engraving, including crystal, cups and rings.
Martyna Kusztelak

Martyna has been with us for just over two years. She is originally from Poland and had worked in her family's business, and as a beautician before joining us. Martyna has a natural and genuine gift for providing excellent service, meeting every customer’s needs.

Laura has been with us almost nine months and writes all the content and video blogs for our site. She also keeps everyone up to date with the latest products and celebrity styles. She is currently studying for her masters in journalism in Coleraine university.
Maurice Hudson

Maurice joined us recently as an internet sales assistant. The business continues to be very family orientated as Maurice is Alison's son. Maurice is a hard and competitient worker who is responsible for the product management on the site.
